In 1929, Mr. John D. Williams established an insurance agency committed to providing comprehensive products and services to help the people and businesses of our region manage risk.

We can trace our roots back over 100 years, through the acquisition of the Cole Agency, which was founded in 1898.

Following the 1984 acquisition of the El Paso branch of Alexander & Alexander (now Aon), the world’s second largest insurance broker, JDW Insurance became one of the largest privately held insurance agencies in the United States.

Today, three generations after JDW Insurance first opened its doors, we are recognized as a leader in insurance, risk management, and financial services. Our employees at our corporate headquarters in El Paso, Texas serve a diverse client base spanning most states, several U.S. territories, and numerous foreign countries.
