Residential rental property

Apartment buildings, dwellings rented to others, and condominium units held for rental are insured by many of the companies we represent. We are able to offer policies tailored to each of these rental situations. Coverage includes buildings, liability protection, and loss of rents insurance. Loss assessment protection is available to owners of residential property in condominiums, homeowners associations, and other planned communities. A wide array of options and coverages are available to fit your needs.

As a self-employed contractor, you have special insurance needs. We may be able to provide comprehensive coverage for your business personal property as well as the liability insurance you need to protect yourself and your business. Multiple options are available to tailor coverage to fit your needs.

Your association represents a substantial investment. Protecting that investment requires insurance specifically designed for your community. A Condominium/Association Policy combines into one package the coverages most often needed by an association and provides a policy with the flexibility to be tailored to meet your community's unique needs.

What is renters insurance and why do I need it?

Renters insurance is designed for anyone who rents a home, be it a house or an apartment. You may not own the place where you live, but you still need insurance protection. Here are some specific reasons you should consider buying renters insurance:

  •  A policy can provide protection for your personal property against such perils as fire, theft, and vandalism.
  • You could be held responsible for injury to another person or for damage to another person's property if an incident occurred within your rented residence, or elsewhere. Renters insurance can help protect you in case of a liability lawsuit against you.
  • A renters policy is remarkably inexpensive.
  • You could be eligible for premium discounts on both renters and auto insurance when you purchase both policies from the same insurance company. Not available in some states or provinces.
  • A renters insurance is flexible, allowing you to select the coverages and insurance amounts that suit your needs.
